As we come to the end of 2019, we look back at the excitement of the year. Of course, moving into the amazing community of Waterdown, Ontario was the highlight, and, as we continue to meet new patients, friends and neighbours, we know that we made the right move for our dentistry team. Seeing new patients, young and old, leave our office with a brighter, whiter and overall healthier smile, is why we do what we do.

As much as the community has already given back to us, we know that it’s our duty and honour to bring only the highest quality dental care to our patients. With a commitment to offering the most advanced dental treatments possible, we strive to provide our patients with a unique, and positive, dental experience with every visit.

Here is what we think will make your family smile in 2020:

  1. Commitment to Family. We are here for every member of your family. From babies to seniors, our team has the experience and the technique to keep everyone smiling for years to come.
  2. Straighter Smiles. You don’t have to live with a crooked smile any longer. Advancements in straightening systems have made it easier and more economical to achieve a straighter smile at any age. As dental professionals, we’ll conduct a full analysis of your mouth and provide a recommendation as to which system would yield the best results – either traditional braces or Invisalign.
  3. Full-mouth Rehabilitation. Full mouth rehabilitation is an advanced procedure where all teeth are reconstructed in the mouth for health and beauty. If you want to start from scratch, talk with Dr. Aaron Langdon about what can be done.
  4. Deep Cleaning. We may be biased, but we truly believe that our team of dental hygienists are the best around. Providing regular cleaning helps our patients stay proactive with their dental health.
  5. White, Bright and Merry. We are typically hard on our teeth. We subject them to wine, tea, coffee, ice, tobacco, etc… Is it any wonder they stain as we age? While some staining is a natural phenomenon, typically, stains are a result of our own bad habits. Teeth whitening is a cosmetic procedure that provides our patient with a brilliant smile and renewed confidence by removing surface stains during a few simple in-office procedures.
  6. Crowns fit for a Queen (or King, Prince, Princess). If you have a damaged tooth that requires a little more tender loving care, we create crowns that slip right over the damaged tooth, restoring natural use once again.
  7. Veneers. Slightly different than a crown, veneers also improve the strength, shape, and appearance of damaged teeth; however, where a crown is a “cap” placed upon the tooth, a veneer is a very thin shell, made of resin or porcelain, which attaches to the front of the tooth. Both natural in function and appearance and great to address noticeable tooth damage.
  8. Building Bridges. If you have a gap in your teeth, bridges might be the way to go. We use custom-made artificial teeth that are placed permanently in the mouth to close any gaps. The bridge can be placed between two crowns or anchored with dental implants, depending on your unique situation.
  9. Senior Support. While dental advancements have made it possible to preserve your natural teeth and smile for your lifetime, there may be instances where dentures are required. Our team cares for seniors as if they were a part of our own family…with dignity, respect and patience.
  10. In-office Support. Family and community are important to all of us and we want you to feel at home in our office at every visit. Remember that our team is here to help answer any questions, concerns, or to provide an ear, at any time.

Your questions are always welcome. Feel free to ask about your own oral health journey and risk factors. Remember, the more you share with your dental team, the more we can proactively keep your smile healthy.
